2. Hampi
Hampi is one of the most famous historical places in India, known for its relics and ruins that once represented the grand Vijaynagar Kingdom. Hampi is a magnificent representation of the art that has given its charm and has been recognized as a World Heritage Site due to its stunning monuments and temples.

3. Gomateshwara
Gomateshwara is a statue dedicated to the god Baahubali of the Jain religion. It’s a monolithic statue in Karnataka and a massive work of art that has been declared one of the wonders of India. Gomateshwara is one of the largest free-standing statues worldwide and represents a serene and peaceful symbol.
The temple has been host to the festival known as Mahamastakabhisheka, where the statue is washed with milk and polished with ghee and saffron to maintain its glitter and shimmer. This festival happens once every 12 years and the next time it is scheduled is in 2030.
4. Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal is one of the frequently visited palaces in India. It’s a monument constructed with red and pink sandstone, which showcases the palace as a royal place. It has 953 windows and was built by Maharaja Pratap Sawai Singh so he could entertain the women of the household.
According to history, the women used to sit by the windows and watch the daily surroundings and events. If you ever visit India, make sure you set your sights on this piece of art and enjoy its mesmerizing paintings and ancient relics. 5. Qutub Minar
Qutub Minar is a rising tower of 250 feet that had influence by Persian architecture. As you go higher into the stories, the narrower they get. The first three stories are constructed of red sandstone, while the fourth is out of marble and the fifth is a mixture of the two.
Qutub Minar was started by the Muslim ruler of Delhi, Qutab-ud-din Aibak. However, it was only finished until the basement. Afterward, his successor finished the next three stories; after that, Firoz Shah Tughulk finished the fifth one.
This monument is often compared to the leaning tower of Pisa due to its architecture and structure. And you should definitely visit it if you cross paths with India.
